Since November 2005, "Life in the UK Test" is a mandatory exam for all candidates for British citizenship. Since 2007, it is also required for those who wish to apply for an Indefinite Leave to Remain, or permanent residency in the United Kingdom.

The test is based on the manual called "Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship - 2nd Edition". The only testable chapters are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The official questions are not published and their distribution is punishable by law.

You have 45 minutes to answer 24 questions and you are only allowed 6 mistakes.

Our Complete Training Kit contains 1000 practice questions that cover the entire testable material. We only offer questions that cover topics likely to appear on the exam.

One of the most popular features of our Complete Kit is Express Training: we selected only those questions that are extremely important and that are most likely to be asked. Express Training also allows you to quickly review the textbook: every time you fail a question, we will show you the page of the official manual that you should review.

We recommend to start with a Simulated Test. Our Advanced Result Analysis will show your weaknesses right away; for example, if you see that most of your mistakes come from the questions about the Government, you may want to review that topic by taking a few tests based only on Chapter 4 (How the United Kingdom is Governed).

Our goal is to prepare you for the test quickly and easily. Hundreds of clients have used our training program and successfully passed their Life in the UK test.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Should I get a Basic Kit or a Complete Kit?

If you feel that you already have an advanced knowledge of topics covered by the test, Basic Kit may be sufficient. We suggest that you take the free test and evaluate your knowledge, before making your decision. On the other hand, you can always upgrade to a Complete Kit if you realize that the Basic Kit is not enough.

What are the accepted payment methods?

You can purchase access using any major credit card, such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and some others. All payments are processed by PayPal, which means that you can also pay using funds in your PayPal account, if you have one. You don't need to have a PayPal account in order to make the payment.

How long does it take before I receive the kit?

The kits are completely web-based, so the delivery is immediate. You will receive an email with your access information instantly or in a few moments after purchase.

How do I know if my computer is compatible with your training kits?

You will not need to download any software. All you need is a web browser, which you obviously have if you are reading this text. If you wish to study offline, you will need to download the Practice Questions in PDF format. Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free.

i agree what tsnotfair comment that the person who was been here long enough and holding an indefinite leave should have the right or exemption for the test because they already adopted the british way of life. And should only be for the new comers for this because the people who were here long enough and old aged of course how and where can they understand or concentrate to read. so i hope the government should understand to this that old aged must have an exemption for the test. uright
